Prayer: The Bridge Between Need and Miracle
Just as a child asks a loving father for what they need, prayer is simply asking Jesus for our needs. Jesus is like a loving father and a faithful friend who is always ready to listen and help us. We can talk to Him openly about anything in our lives.
Prayer is not something complicated. It has no special rules, fixed time, sacred place, particular posture, language, pattern, or religious background. You can pray anywhere and at any time. Prayer is simply talking to Jesus—whether silently in our hearts or aloud with our voice.
Prayer is feeling His presence in our own hearts and knowing that He is near, not far away. It is believing that He is listening, understands our pain, and is able to provide what we need in our lives.
Jesus Sees Intentions
Jesus sees our intentions. He does not look at caste, creed, color, status, or how much we give. He looks at the heart.
If our intentions are evil, selfish, or meant to harm others, prayer is not meant to fulfill those desires. Jesus looks for pure, honest, and sincere intentions. He responds to hearts that seek what is good and right.
Jesus Sees Consistency
A child asks their parent for something and hears “no.” Yet the child asks again the next day, and again after that, because they deeply desire it and trust that their parent cares for them.
Like drops of water falling on a rock, nothing seems to change at first. But over time, the rock begins to wear smooth.
In the same way, the change we seek may not come through a one-time prayer, but through faithful and consistent prayer. Jesus values a heart that continues to pray, trust, and seek Him without giving up.
Jesus Sees Faith
A man once stood at the edge of a vast ocean holding a small cup. He did not measure the ocean or try to understand its depth. He simply trusted that if he dipped his cup into the water, it would be filled—and it was.
Similarly, we do not need to understand everything Jesus will do or when He will do it. Faith trusts Him even when the answer is not immediate and the outcome is not yet visible.
Faith is simply believing that Jesus hears us, cares for us, and is able to provide what we truly need. Jesus sees the faith behind every prayer. Even small and sincere faith that reaches out to Him is enough for Him to respond.
